If your event is invite-only, you can limit bookings to approved email addresses only.
Limit sales to these addresses - List email addresses in the field provided, separated by a comma. If the booker's email address is not on this list they will be prevented from completing their booking. Leave blank to allow anyone to book.
Allow one booking per email address only - This restricts bookings to one booking per email address. If a customer attempts to create a second booking with the same email address as the first they will not be able to proceed to complete the booking.
NOTES
- If you want to allow everyone at a particular organisation address to book, you can just list the domain (the part after the @ in the address).
- This list of email addresses remains private. If a booker does not match this list, they will be instructed to contact you.
- These restrictions only apply to the person making the booking. If you are collecting individual attendee email addresses, those are not checked against this list.
- Protecting privacy: If a second booking is attempted, we will show a message saying that booking is restricted and ask the booker to contact you. This message is purposefully vague so as not to confirm attendance to a third party.
EXAMPLE
Let’s say you want to allow all staff of your company to book tickets, plus a few specific contractors and guests.
In the example below, everyone with a liveit.io address will be able to book, plus Sally, Frank and Katie.
